Love at First Bite

I gave Gianna her first taste of food yesterday and it was kind of funny.

So stinkin cute

She is almost crawling. She can get up on all fours but can't figure out how to make the move.

You Might Be Lonely If....

I was inspired to get out and meet some people this morning when I caught Gianna smiling and giggling with the little girl from the Target diaper box. She really liked her.

She did make a friend with an 8 month boy named Modestus though. Here they are having a little arm wrestling rumble.

And the following I couldn't resist.

I caught one of those huge smiles! Usually the camera distracts her.

Golden Gate Canyon State Park

We bought an annual pass to the Colorado State Parks a few weeks ago and have already been able to visit four of them! Jacob made this video (sorry it's a little long) to keep you up to date with how much Gianna is growing and to show you how beautiful it is out here!

We've agreed the next video should be much shorter.

Have you ever thought about...

....the wild language of our times? Seriously. I skyped with my friend and she said she just got a droid. Afterward I checked to see if she blogged about it but she didn't. My facebook feed said another friend got a blackberry. I needed a new cell so I googled them and somehow ended up on ebay buying an iphone. I took a home video after I got it and sent it to youtube. Now that is something to tweet about!

Kind of funny if I may say so myself.

Getting To Know You..

Getting to know all about you...Know the song? Jacob and I are getting to know each other more and our daughter. Meanwhile we are also getting more settled into our lovely home and exploring the area a bit.

Sights to Behold

As I convert this blog to sharing my thoughts and life as a full time mother, I would like to share some beauty with you all.

First my family. Look at these two? How can you not fall in love?

Second our new home. A little rough on the edges but it is beautiful and perfect inside. More to come.

Third the landscape here...breathtaking. We just got a pass to all 42 state parks and we have a goal to visit them all!

And fourth my husband discovered another skill. Refinishing furniture. This is amazing. I tell him it is not fair that one man has so many talents. It should be against the law. He is becoming more like St. Joseph everyday.
