10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.. Happy New Logo! That's right, the new logo that Jacob designed became official on January 1st! I can't believe I am just now posting about Jacob's fabulous work.  He has worked really hard, done lots of research, and has prayerfully created the new FOCUS logo and it looks like this:

 I couldn't be prouder of his determination and amazing insight into the future of the Church through FOCUS. This will relate more to those facebooking, twittering, texting kids out there today! Check out the website here for more info on the reasons for the new look. It's worth the time. I promise.

Dr Seuss Meets Mickey

There's a mouse in my house!

I heard a little scratching noise in the living room. Joy, it's nothing. Calm down. A little later Gianna woke from her nap and I saw the little guy. He scurried across the kitchen floor. My heart sank and I panicked. I absolutely hate mice. I picked up Gianna and went to the bedroom and closed the door. Now what? Well my friendly neighbor came to help and  we set up traps. We still haven't got him. I am hoping he went back outdoors where he belongs. I just wait now. I have decided I cannot live in fear. I am trying to forget about it. But for now we will wait and pray there isn't a fox in a box hanging around somewhere here.

And of course we loved the mice at disney world! Even let them kiss us!!!
